Belén Rodero started her vocal training in Madrid with tenor Víctor Garzón and pianist Manuel Valencia. She later honed her technique at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest and graduated with honors from the Amaniel Conservatory in Madrid. She currently works on her vocal style with maestro Vincenzo Spatola, a faculty member at the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, as well as with repertory coach John Ballerino from UC Santa Barbara and music director Andrés Juncos. As a lyric soprano, she is known for her shimmering tone and the delicacy of

her high notes, making her an ideal fit for roles such as  Adina(L’elisir d’amore), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Mimí (La bohème), and Micaela (Carmen). In the world of zarzuela, she has stood out in roles like the Duchess Carolina (Luisa Fernanda), Ana Mari (El caserío), and Elena (El barbero de Sevilla). Her repertoire also includes Lieder by Schubert and Strauss. Belén has trained with renowned mentors, including Isabel Rey, Raquel Lojendio, Gabriella Ravazzi, and Nancy Fabiola Herrera. She has also specialized in prestigious opera programs such as Opera Studio Alcalá de Henares, Leonel Morales, Orvieto Music Academy, and Zarzuela USA-Intl. Her career as a soloist has taken her to major venues across Spain, including Madrid’s National Auditorium, the Museum of Romanticism, Casa de Vacas, and the Atarfe Auditorium in Granada. She has also performed at festivals like Intramurs in Valencia and the Música y Patrimonio series by JJMM in Toledo. Internationally, she has brought her artistry to audiences in Bolivia and the U.S., most recently performing in Zarzuela Voices in Los Angeles, California. She currently splits her time between Madrid and Los Angeles.
