ORCHESTRA

Christina has been based in the Los Angeles area performing and teaching for 20 years. Prior to that she played professionally in in Phoenix, AZ and Ohio and Pennsylvania. She performs in varied orchestral, chamber, popular and folk music settings on violin and viola. She also records and performs on 5 string electric violin and vocals on her original compositions as well as with LA based progressive rock band, Lobate Scarp. Christina maintains a private teaching studio and teaches applied music lessons at multiple institutions including College of the Canyons, where she also directs Mariachi Nuevo Canto and teaches music theory and music appreciation.
