Jason Beaumont is a freelance French Horn player in the Los Angeles area. He performs regularly in the Santa Monica Symphony, is the principal horn of the Symphony of the Vines, and assistant principal horn of San Luis Obispo Symphony. He subs regularly with New West Symphony and performs regularly with horn legend, James Thatcher, and under the baton of Oscar-winning composer, Alexandre Desplat. He has a degree in horn performance from Missouri State University, where he won the concerto competition and performed the Villanelle by Paul Dukas. He also records horn in his home studio and when he’s not performing and recording, he is a video producer, filmmaker, and photographer.
